Polystyrene board and PVC foam board are mixed in the market. These two kinds of boards are widely used in the advertising industry. Many sellers are called them KT boards. In fact, they are different kinds of boards (Polystyrene board, PVC foam board).
Firstly, the price, material and weight of the two kinds of plates of Polystyrene board and PVC foam board are obviously several times worse. In fact, the Polystyrene board (foam board) is foamed inside, and the outer PVC veneer sheet is light in weight and the price is cheap.
Since the inner core is too soft (the foam is flat and flat), it is not suitable for making a complicated model building. Of course, it can be done with care, but the effect is obviously not as good as the PVC foam board.
Secondly, the PVC foam board is also called Chevron board. PVC is used as the inner foam for foaming. The outside is also PVC veneer. Because of the density and weight, it is 3-4 times heavier than Polystyrene board. Of course, the price is 3-4 times more expensive. The hardness is relatively high, and it is often used to make model buildings.
